The Search for the Best Coffee

I'm not big on caffeine but whenever I get my fix, it has to be in the form of a bar of dark chocolate or better yet, a cup of freshly brewed coffee. They say the Philippines has one of the best coffee in the world with its alamid coffee grown in Batangas. It's something we should all be proud about. I remember Figaro, a Filipino-owned coffee shop, has this advocacy of championing the cause of Filipino coffee growers while promoting locally-grown coffee (in the country and in the world) going for years now.

Along with technological advances and good weather conditions come excellent gourmet flavored coffees. I'm glad that our coffee choices continue to widen through the years. Aside from our fave local brew, we can now have specialty blends like those made of Arabica coffee beans. Indeed, a cup of coffee is truly enjoyed when you know it comes only from the best coffee beans.

What's the best coffee for you?
