Foodie Find: Hungarian Sausage Sandwich from Hero Sausages

I was at Shangri-La Mall last night with the fiancee for a quick blog event. Before we went home, we chanced upon a Hero Sausages stall at the basement (where the food court was). It was as if the sausage display was calling on me and so I ended up buying a small Hungarian sausage on oatmeal bun (for takeout) for P38. I also availed of the relish and onion toppings just by adding P10 to my bill. I didn't regret my decision as the sandwich was yummy!

My Hungarian sausage sandwich was juicy and oozing with flavors. I particularly loved the spice from the Hungarian sausage (which I asked to be cooked well-done!) and the slightly-cooked onion slices.

For less than P50, I think Hero Sausages sandwiches are a good snack option. You can choose from Hungarian, Schublig or Frankfurter. If you have a big appetite, go for the jumbo size. They even have mixed fried rice to go with your choice of sausage for a complete meal. :)

  1. I was scammed! Hero Sausages offered a deal through MetroDeal.com. It was deceptive! My voucher says fruit juice, but I was given iced tea. When I computed the discount based on the price in the menu, it was different! I complained and Hero did not even apologize!
