Dinner at Hawaii's North Shore

Last November 17 which was a Thursday, I was at UP-Ayala Techno Hub for a dinner with the Open Rice Philippines Team. It’s my second time to attend their “Eat’s a Date” activity where they treat Open Ricers and food bloggers to a sumptuous dinner to introduce a particular restaurant and to just have a bonding time with us. This time, we tried the food at Hawaii's North Shore. Our dinner consisted of their signature burgers and steaks which are the stars of the restaurant’s very simple and straightforward menu. - Free Photo Upload, Free Image Hosting, Free Flash Slideshows

I got caught in the traffic and so I arrived in the restaurant during the latter part of the dinner. I didn’t get to taste the burgers but I did have a great time finishing the various steaks served to us. If I’m not mistaken, I ate three different steaks in one night. How lucky could I get?

My fave among the three would be the Strip Steak because it was succulent and well-seasoned. It also had the right balance of meat and fat I wanted. Simply delicious. - Free Photo Upload, Free Image Hosting, Free Flash Slideshows

The other two were good as well. They had the right marbling and the meat was fork-tender.

The best thing about the steaks is that their prices were quite affordable considering they were imported beef. Nice.

By the way, I also got a taste of the Caesar salad and it was light and refreshing.

Hawaii's North Shore is one themed restaurant that serves good food at mid-range prices. The ambience is cozy and relaxing. When you're here, it's like you're on a beach, what with all the surfboards and other beach essentials adorning the place. The beach wear-donning wait staff completes the beach vibe and adds a festive mood to the restaurant, too. It helped that they were friendly and attentive, too, during our visit. - Free Photo Upload, Free Image Hosting, Free Flash Slideshows

If you’re looking for something new and craving for good burgers and steaks, you might wanna check out Hawaiaan North Shore at UP-Ayala Techno Hub!
