It was our first time at Molito, a fast-growing foodie destination in Alabang, Muntinlupa City. The place is lovely and huge and well-maintained. It’s also peppered with restaurants, cafes and some shops. I even saw a Korean grocery in one corner. That Saturday night during my visit with the hubby, it was half-filled with people but you could still see how relaxing the place was.
We just came from the evening mass at the nearby St. Jerome Parish and we were still full from the late merienda we had at Alabang Town Center. I just wanted something light for dinner when the hubby suggested we try out BBQ Chicken and Beer. We both like chicken so off we went inside the resto.
We ordered their Nacho and Hot Wings (P265) and Vegetable Fried Rice (P100+) and shared everything. The hot wings (four pieces in total) were really spicy, the kind that will leave you perspiring like crazy! The nachos, on the other hand, was good and made more delicious by the cheese dip and the fresh-tasting salsa that came with it.
Since I wasn’t that hungry then, the hubby ate most of the fried rice. Other than the fact that it was not oily, I can’t say anything good about it. Haha.
If there’s one thing I liked about the resto, it’s their interiors that look very Japanese with plastic trees, paper lanterns and all.
Next time, we’d like to try the other flavored wings at BBQ Chicken and Beer. We’re not so much of a beer fan so I guess we’ll skip their beers.
